Learn to code by playing games
what SULULU is, and what it is becoming
SULULU is a free arcade of games that teach. The opening lineup teaches coding and AI — Python, Java, large language models, AI agents and the Model Context Protocol — and the arcade will not stop at code: the shape works for anything worth knowing. Ten seconds a question, four answers. Learning that plays like a game rather than a course.
It is run by one person, it sells nothing, and it carries no advertising.
The games
- Python Space Mission — learn Python: variables, data types, conditions, loops, functions, lists, dictionaries, classes.
- MCP Rush — learn the Model Context Protocol: resources, tools, prompts, sampling, roots, transports and auth.
- LLM Foundation Rush — learn how large language models work: tokens, embeddings, RAG, context windows, cost.
- Agentic AI Fundamentals — learn how AI agents work: planning, reflection, memory, tool calling, orchestration.
- Java Cricket — learn Java: twelve balls, sixty seconds each, twelve topics.
- Code Highway — a driving game in six languages: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C++ and Go.
- Code Review — learn code review: find the one real flaw in a pull request, in the same six languages.
Why a game and not a course
Ten seconds is long enough to recognise something you understand and too short to bluff through something you do not — so every question tells you, immediately, which one it was. A course tells you three chapters later. A game does what flashcards were always trying to do, with a scoreboard instead of a stack of cards.
Questions and answers
Is it really free?
Yes. Every game on SULULU is free, and there is nothing to buy inside them.
Do I need an account?
No — play as a guest. An account only exists so your progress can follow you to another device.
Do I need to install anything?
No. SULULU runs in the browser, wherever there is one.
Is it only about coding?
Today the games teach coding and AI. The format — ten seconds, four answers, one topic at a time — is not married to code, and new subjects will join the shelf.
Which game should I start with?
Python Space Mission if you are new to programming; LLM Foundation Rush if you write code already and want the AI side.
